mipsim

In September 2012, MIPS Technologies Inc. requested the transfer of ownership of mipsim.com domain name due to trademark concerns, to which I complied. My hosting provider has changed two times since then. The first time, I was able to get in contact with someone who could update the name server information for mipsim.com so that it pointed to the name servers of my new hosting provider. The second time, however, I had no luck and it is not for the lack of trying. Meanwhile, apparently, Imagination Technologies has acquired MIPS Technologies, so I'm not sure if they don't care much about MIPS anymore or what. Anyway, from now on this site will be hosted at mipsim.cetinkoca.com.

Integration of the C++ API for MIPSim 2 is completed. You can now write your own programs in C++ that can read from and write to the registers and memory of the machine simulated by MIPSim. Please check API information page for details, instructions and API download.

Development of MIPSim 2 is completed. Version 2 contains new features such as instruction encoding, error checking as well as several bugfixes and huge performance improvements. It is available for download on this website. Also don't forget to check the new features.
